When it comes to architecture, there are many different things you need to have to truly call yourself an architect. Just because someone calls themselves that does not make them one, however. Only those who are officially certified as such can use the word “architect” next to their name.
That is why it is so important to know how much ram you have in your computer before deciding if you should be considered professional!
If you want to keep up with the professionals, then you must have at least 2 GB of RAM installed in your laptop or desktop. A lot of people do not meet this requirement, which is very unfortunate since most software these days requires enough memory for true performance.
There are several reasons why you would need more than 1GB of RAM, but the main ones include having multiple windows open at once, using advanced features like photoshop, video editing, and gaming.
It is also important to remember that not all laptops come with a built-in webcam, so you will need to look into getting one later. For example, when doing online courses (like ours!), we needed a good quality camera to record our lectures and tutorials properly.

Type counting is tricky, as there are so many ways to categorize RAM! Here we will go through some common types of computer memory and how much they should have depending on your software use.
First up, let’s talk about fast internal storage or persistent memory. This includes things like hard drives and flash cards/drives. For most people this would be the place that all of your files and apps get put when you first start using the computer.
It also contains your operating system (Windows, Mac OS) and other programs such as Google Chrome and Skype. Technically speaking, these aren’t “ram” since they don’t contain random information like computers made years ago, but they are very important to have because they create an easy way to access your data.
If you’re looking to build a powerful desktop computer, look into getting at least 2GB of internal storage per app. That way if you want to save something in Microsoft Office, for example, it has its own space. You can also easily delete everything else and just keep the one app.
For laptops, even more importance is placed on having enough internal storage. Most laptops only give you around 1-2 gigs which isn’t very generous for someone who wants to download lots of pictures or movies.
External storage is another option, something like external hard drive or USB stick.

One of the most important things to consider when deciding how many GB of RAM you need for your architecture software is how large your programs will get. Just because an app like Photoshop has an expensive price tag does not mean that it needs that amount of RAM to run efficiently.
Most apps these days are bloated, which means they take up a lot of space within Windows. They may also use a lot of CPU power to perform their functions so quickly. Bloated applications can easily push the limits of our computers’ memory cards.
If yours seems slow at times or if it constantly crashes, try upgrading your computer’s RAM. You would want to aim for a minimum of 8GB per slot, but ideally 16GB per side depending on what programs you have installed.
Try using Google Chrome as an example – it is one of the most popular web browsers around and usually people do not seem to complain about its performance.

Choosing your next computer memory type depends mostly on your use cases and on how much you use your current laptop or computer. If you are just starting out with computers, choosing among the different types of RAM is probably the least important factor.
Most people begin using laptops that have enough internal storage space (or hard drive) to make many settings and applications accessible right away. It’s also common to purchase an additional external GPU such as a USB 3.0 stick to connect to a larger screen or to play newer games.
But if you are ever planning to run more advanced programs like Photoshop or Final Cut Pro, you will need at least 32 gigabytes (GB) of RAM in order to open all of their files efficiently. You can usually find 16 GB sticks for around $60-80, so it is not too expensive to start investing in more ram.

A lot of people tend to add more RAM to their computer just because they can at first, but this is not a good idea. You should only upgrade your RAM if you know what it does and how to use it!
If you are using Microsoft Office or Photoshop then adding more RAM will be helpful, but otherwise, it is unnecessary. These applications have internal cache functions already so very little extra memory is needed.
Using web browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox requires even less memory than those apps since most websites these days use JavaScript heavily. If you find that your browser is running slowly due to lack of RAM then try lowering your graphics settings or switching to a lighter weight theme before upgrading your RAM.
Surf the internet in Private Mode
Many mobile app developers now offer private mode as an option where all of your data including emails, messages, and other information are stored locally instead of being saved online. This cuts down on bandwidth used and helps prevent privacy issues such as someone else potentially viewing your information.
You do not need a large amount of RAM to surf the net or send texts and emails, so unless you really need your current setup, consider dropping a few dollars on some additional memory.

The other major component to consider when picking out your next computer is how much RAM you have. More RAM means more memory space that can be assigned to programs and files. Most of us use apps like Facebook, Netflix, and YouTube heavily so having enough RAM will ensure their smooth functioning.
A base model laptop comes with 1 GB of RAM which is one gigabyte, or 1 billion bytes. A common rule of thumb is getting twice as much RAM as you have currently. So if you had only 1GB now, get 2GB!
Most laptops come equipped with either 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM depending on price range. Make sure your new computer has at least this amount of RAM to give you an adequate experience. You could possibly upgrade later down the road but investing in it now will cost less in the future!

Bullet point: Size Does Matter
Many people prefer the design element of an OLED display over that of an LCD. They say it looks sharper and richer in colors.

As with any purchase, you should do some research before investing in professional software. You can check online forums or even talk to other users to see how well it works and if there are any problems.
There are many sites that offer free architectural software, so why not try one of those first? Many people have success using them, so giving this a shot is worth looking into!
Overall, most architects use Photoshop at least twice per week depending on what projects they have going on. It is very versatile so almost anyone can use it, which may be a factor in its popularity.
Now let’s look at some pros and cons of photorealistic apps.

The next question to ask is can you increase your RAM up to a higher limit? Most laptops now have either 4 GB or 8 GB of dedicated memory, so it’s not like there was never really an opportunity to give yourself a performance boost!
If your computer comes with only 2GB then don’t waste money on additional RAM just yet. You could risk having limited use of certain features on your laptop (like being able to run some software) due to insufficient memory.
However, once again, dependant upon what apps you use and how much RAM those apps require, you may be able to upgrade later on!
That is, if you want to use your laptop for design purposes then I would say go ahead and invest in more RAM at this stage. It will make your work faster and easier!
But remember, as we said before, buying extra RAM isn’t cheap, so do your research and find out which memory cards are the best value for money before investing.

One of the first things to do in your quest to have more RAM is run a memory test. There are several types of tests you can use, like Quick Memory Test or Full On Memory Test!
Quick Memory Tests will only check a few areas of your computer at one time so they are quick and easy to complete. A common one that people use is called Windows Memtest which can test all of your hard drive space, your CPU, as well as your GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and monitor.
Once it has completed testing, it will tell you what kind of test it ran and whether there were any errors. If it found an error, it will tell you if it was bad or good so you know where to focus your efforts next!
Something to note is that most laptops these days come with limited memtest modes, usually just using the integrated graphics card instead of requiring users to purchase additional drivers or software. Make sure yours does too before trying other tests.
