How To Come Up With Your Own Art Style!

Creating Your Own Art Style

This article will discuss how to come up with your own art style.

What makes a good artists style? And why does one artist get more hits than the others?

One of the most fascinating aspects of the internet is how it can make everyone become an expert on almost anything they can possibly imagine.

One of the most notable examples is how Youtube can make everyone a fashion photographer. Or make a plastic surgeon the world's most respected anatomy teacher. Or make a cartoonist a renowned film critic.

Everyone can create some sort of content, and when combined with today's lack of value of money, it becomes a lucrative pursuit.

I am of the opinion that great art is a social phenomenon. People like to see things they identify with, and artists have the unique ability to get them to do just that.

If you want your art to be truly great, you have to start looking at your style in that way.

When you think about it, what separates good and great art from crap art?

First, the art has to fit the style of the site you're trying to promote it on.

Second, you have to get people to see your art in the first place.

How?

First, focus on making your art stand out from the rest of the site. Take your time and do a lot of research on your target audience. What are they interested in?

Look at some of their favorite art sites. What are their favorite websites? The comments section of their favorite art site is a good source.

You can find them on any art site. It's easy to learn more about how people appreciate art.

Let's say that you create a short comic strip. Take a look at the following examples. Are they any good?

A couple of these are great. The others, well, maybe they're okay.

But you can see that they all have a distinct style. They have different characters, characters with different personalities, a specific coloring scheme, and the art is quite unique.

A long comic strip that's not much different from the ones we just looked at.

When you think about it, what separates these styles from each other?

Color

A comic strip has a distinct color scheme. One color is black, one color is red, etc.

That's the difference.

One can look at a very long comic strip and say "this is typical of comics." But that's not true.

A long comic strip has a certain color scheme. It's different from most things we'll see on the web. This tells me that this comic is very important to the creator.

Again, you can't really tell this from looking at the comic. But as an artist, you know when you've hit a home run.

You're working on something that you can be very proud of. Not everyone will agree with you.

But that's not the point.

The point is that you are creating something that your audience will find interesting.

Take a look at the design of websites.

The design of the site helps the visitor to understand the purpose of the website better. It's easier for them to find the information they are looking for. It has a specific look and feel.

The choice of colors is the first thing people notice. It's the first thing they notice when they open up your website.

Color is the first thing you want your audience to notice when they see your artwork.

To see how colors can influence your art, look at the drawings of  famous artists.

A color scheme like this also gives you a more subtle color palette. Each color is different from the other, yet the color scheme seems to be harmonious.

To come to the conclusion that there is value in your work, you have to take into account the look and feel of the site you're trying to promote.

When you do that, the decision to show your art will make much more sense.

What is a color palette?

Let's say you want to see what your work looks like on this website, so you do some research on the color scheme of the site.

Then you go to a popular website and look at some of the other art they have. Do they look good on the site?

If you like this website's color scheme, then you should choose to use it.

But if you don't like it, why would you choose to use it?

It's like going to a restaurant where you want to make your experience as pleasant as possible. You order from the most popular menu on the menu. Then you find a table that has the closest view of the kitchen.

So, does this mean that you shouldn't use the color scheme I suggested?

I would say that your choice of color scheme is more important than the choice of the website. But in this case, you may need to make a compromise.

You need to choose what you think will help you make the most of your work.

But it's not really about choice. It's about style.
