You should experience art. Visit a museum. Read books. Get a chance to create art. Make friends with other artists. Meet new people. Create art in a group.

This is the dumbest argument against art education that I have ever heard. It is not music that is wrong; it is people who have never heard of music who do not see the inherent beauty in it. Art is art. If you do not appreciate it, it is your fault.

Art can save lives. While most people do not want to experience art, millions of people do, and they do it every day. It can help people escape negative situations. Art can make the world a more creative and beautiful place. Art can save lives.

You can be an artist, too!

Everyone wants to be an artist. Everyone wants to express their emotions through art. But no one is allowed to tell you that you cannot express your emotions through art.

That does not matter to you. You do not have to wait your turn to learn how to express your emotions through art. You do not have to wait your turn to learn how to become an artist. You do not have to wait your turn to become an artist, period.
