As such, there is growing pressure on architectural professionals to use more technologically advanced methods and concepts. This article will talk about what makes something be considered “architectural” and why it is important to separate architectural technology from true architecture.

Differences between architects and engineers

Technically, an architect is someone with at least a masters degree in architecture who works outside or alongside other professionals that are not licensed as professional engineer (EPE).

However, this distinction is quite fuzzy and most people consider anyone involved in designing or building structures to be both an architectural and engineering professional.
