Christmas is almost here, which means many people are going to be stressing out about whether or not they have the perfect gift for that special someone in their lives.

Whether it’s the gift of art or the unique gift that’s totally theirs, all you need to do is go online to the best prints shops and purchase your coveted gift.

Before you assume that everything you will ever need is available online, that’s definitely not true. You will need to go out and actually buy some prints, which can be fun, and fun to shop for too.

But don’t worry, it’s just what I’ll be doing over the holidays.

My first artistic item would be Alex Malin’s series titled “Garçon.” A tiny detail that’s pretty key to understanding this man is that he is French.

But instead of trying to hide his nationality, he embraces it with a series of portraits he created of men in various states of undress that speak to the male form.

The series represents a broader mix of gender expression, and that definitely includes the notion of being comfortable in your own skin. Although many of these men are posing in a vulnerable position, they still exude such strength.

But also notice how the bodies are not overly muscular, but they are well toned. Malin is a master at capturing the likeness of his subjects, so you’ll definitely feel as though you have known these people your entire life.

Obviously, the first way to get one is to buy all of them. But if that’s not possible, the next best way is to buy three for a friend. I can’t think of a better way to make that person’s day.

Shakespeare In Love

Of all the things you can get your artsy friend, I think Shakespeare in Love would make a great gift. The movie comes out on December 15, and I’m sure your friend will get a kick out of this musical about Shakespeare’s love life with Olivia de Havilland.

You can never go wrong with a movie about literature.

So far, the film is getting rave reviews, and I think it’s a perfect movie to watch during the Christmas season. The film captures the heart of how it used to be back in Shakespeare’s day and the fact that you can still feel that nostalgia for something you’ve never read.

EDM

The last thing I’m going to recommend for this list is EDM music. Electronic dance music is perfect for any artsy person because of the subgenre of techno music, known as trap.

It’s all about extreme beats and heavy bass, with visuals to go along with it. The bass is almost an afterthought, so that’s what makes this music for your art fan.

There are so many different styles of EDM music, and that’s what makes it so great. For example, how many times do you hear Trap music from a woman’s perspective? Not a lot.

Instead, you hear it from a male’s perspective, and that’s why I’m including it.

Also, for the person who loves EDM, a gift of studio headphones, like the Sennheiser Orpheus M50, is perfect for listening to your favorite artist’s music.
