Why Does Art Help Mental Health?

This article will discuss why does art help mental health.

The next time you are thinking of leaving your art supplies in your art box and cleaning them up, take a moment to think about its therapeutic effect on you. I believe you will see why it is an art closet’s best friend.

The Human Condition

As humans, we all have both light and darkness within us. Not all of us like to talk about the “dark” side of ourselves, and as artists we are expected to be our best self.

In art school, we are encouraged to do that more, and art, which embraces the dark side, allows us to create beauty out of all of our emotions, sorrows and doubts.

I have long believed that art is about the human condition, and we all have our own struggle with it. There is no right or wrong way to achieve artistic expression.

We all have a place in art and need to respect that each one of us is different and our unique thoughts and feelings define who we are as people.

This past weekend, I found myself using some dark chocolate chips to create a new painting.

This past year, I have been dealing with some really difficult situations and some difficult people, so when I sit down and paint, it’s almost as though I can use the dark chocolate chips to help me through the challenges I am facing in life. I don’t know why it works for me, but it does.

Artists and creative people

We are often labeled as the “mad scientist” or the “mad artist.” I know there are those out there who do not understand the meaning behind this, but for me, it’s a term to remind me that my art makes me happy, and I cannot imagine living my life any other way.

Artistic expression is the strongest thing we can give to the world, and it is my hope that we will all continue to strive to improve and to support each other.

I have a very small circle of people that I choose to share my art with, and I am very grateful for those few, special people in my life who support my art, and love the fact that I am not afraid to express my darkness.

This support has helped me see that my life and my art are truly reflections of the light within us all.

I used to think that when people were staring at me that it was because I was so different. As I have gotten older, I realized that most people simply do not know what to say.

What I have learned, and am still learning is that saying nothing does not say that I do not care, or that I am not thankful for the kindness I have received. I was afraid to be my true self.

Life is too short to be worried about what others think of you. The real answer is to stay positive. I chose to use this as my mantra because it has been the only way for me to always feel like I was OK, so I could be my full self.

Now I smile and I acknowledge others when I see them, and it doesn’t cost me anything, because it is genuine.

The true test is in the eyes of the one who is staring, and so far I have gotten more compliments from those who are genuinely interested in how I am doing than people who are trying to judge me.

I chose to turn my life into art because it has become my passion. It gives me joy and peace, and it is the only way I know how to show love to the world. I have found my passion, and I have used it to create an art career.

The art will never go away. It is a part of my life and it is a part of the world around me. I paint with the bold colors I can envision and I paint with the colors in my soul.

There is no right or wrong way to do this, and I believe that the most important thing is that you find your passion.

Everyone has a place in the world!

We were all born with a place in this world. We are unique. We all have a purpose in this world, and many people have done great things. I believe that everyone has an artistic talent and a way to share it, and that can be in many forms.

To each of you, I say thank you for sharing your gifts with me and for allowing me to be a part of your life. I know I am a very small part of the world, and that is OK.

We are all so connected, and so unique, that no one person should have to live their life alone.

I am my own worst critic, but the words that describe me are an expression of who I am, and what I value. My voice, my painting, and my art are all mine, and they are a reflection of who I am.

I have come a long way and I am happy to be here. Thank you to all of the people who have supported me and who have made me the person I am today.

I believe I am exactly where I need to be, and I am so very grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with all of you.
